I was reading an article on the BBC just now, it had enticed me to read with a headline that said, "Onions and Ironing Boards..."

I was entrigued by the ellipsis. I have to find out just what onions and ironing boards have to do with each other.

Regretfully, I did not make it past the fourth sentence. That is where my brain demanded that I either stop reading the article or it would permanently part itself from my eyes. There are SCIENTISTS studying the AROMA of FRENCH FRIES.

And you KNOW that that means they have a research grant to do this. You simply can't make a living from studying the aroma of french fries. There must be government funding involved.
