According to an article I just read on the BBC,it looks like Starbucks is going to cut thousands of jobs and close hundreds of stores.

Apparently, when people lose their jobs or have their salaries frozen, they realize that it is not fiscally responsible to throw down $4.00 for a Venti half-caf hazel frappuccini with extra caramel. Extra caramel which does NOTHING to hide the disgusting flavor of the swill Starbucks tries to pass off as coffee.

And Starbucks becomes a collateral victim of the ecomnomic downturn.

Poor, poor Starbucks.
